Spectrum and RingCentral Team Up to Provide Business Communication Solutions
New Offering Gives Business Customers Enhanced Remote Capabilities

Charter Communications recently began rolling out Spectrum Business Connect with RingCentral, a communications solution for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) that allows them to easily connect remote and mobile employees to their office under one converged connectivity experience. Additionally, a similar solution for Enterprise clients, called Spectrum Enterprise Unified Communications with RingCentral, will be made available in early December.

Available to Spectrum Business Internet customers with one-stop onboarding through Spectrum, this new offering allows companies to equip their employees with enterprise-grade voice, messaging, texting (SMS/MMS), online meeting, video conferencing and collaboration solutions, regardless of their location. Users access and manage these features through the RingCentral app with optional compatible desk phones also available for purchase.
RingCentral Offers Remote Communication Solutions for Businesses of All Sizes
Spectrum Business Connect with RingCentral enables businesses to:
- Communicate with employees and customers via instant messages and text messages. Compatible with Android, iOS, Mac and PC, Spectrum Business Connect with RingCentral allows you to start a conversation on your desk phone or PC and transfer it to your cell, providing complete mobility.
- Conduct video meetings, conferencing and collaboration from both mobile and desktop applications.
- Seamlessly share files and screens during video calls and via chat.
- Use robust telephony features including a software-based phone with optional integration with desk phones, and an excellent bundling option with Spectrum Business Mobile.
Spectrum Business Connect with RingCentral is currently launched in more than 90% of Spectrum’s service area and will become available in remaining markets in early 2023. Spectrum Enterprise Unified Communications (UC) with RingCentral will be launching in early December and will be available nationwide.

The Spectrum Enterprise UC with RingCentral solution includes the same basic features as the SMB product, but also provides a premium option that includes multisite management, complex call routing, advanced analytics and integration with over 250 business applications. When combined with Spectrum Enterprise’s connectivity and managed services, including Managed Network Edge and Enterprise Network Edge, the solution also provides network security and managed local area network (LAN) - all with end-to-end support backed by industry-leading service level agreements.
